During the period August 10th up till August 13th 2000 several radio programmes of NDR 1 Radio MV (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) were transmitted live from the harbour of Rostock. Special attention was paid to the 10th edition of Hanse Sail, which attracted more than 1 million visitors this year. When entering the harbour of Rostock my eyes felt directly on a vessel, the Greif, which had a big banner of NDR MV on. This ship was used during four days as a radioship to bring live coverage of the Hanse Sail at sea (for the coast of Warnemünde).
A pity I hadn't a photocamara with me during this short holiday... [Story by Hans Knot]
